The current FSU Dean of Libraries, Etschmaier made the decision to unbundle their Elsevier Big Deal as both a cost saving mechanism and as a protest against Elsevier pricing.  The FSU unbundling is notable in that there have been virtually no protests from faculty, and access to unsubscribed Elsevier journals through alternative ILL methods has been far less expensive than anticipated.
